Cross through the Atal Tunnel (the world's longest highway tunnel above 3,000m) and emerge into a different landscape: barren mountains, Tibetan prayer flags, and villages where houses are built of stone and wood with flat roofs for drying barley. You'll trek to Jogini Falls through the old-growth forest above Vashisht, ride through Sissu village in Lahaul, and experience the dramatic transition from Hindu Manali to Buddhist Lahaul that happens in the span of a single tunnel.
