onwardsThree days trekking from Jibhi to Jalori Pass at 3,120 metres — one of the most accessible high-altitude treks in Himachal. The trail starts in the village of Jibhi (a cluster of wooden houses, a few guesthouses, and a river) and climbs through dense forest — oak, deodar, and rhododendron — to the pass. At the top: a 360-degree panorama of the Himalayas that includes peaks in four districts. From Jalori, the trek continues to Serolsar Lake — a sacred lake in a forest clearing where the stillness is absolute. The descent takes you through Raghupur Fort, a crumbling Mughal-era fortress that most trekkers walk past without realizing what it is. Three days, moderate difficulty, maximum payoff.
