Spiti Valley Adventure

The no-nonsense Spiti trip. Pick up from Delhi, overnight drive, wake up in the mountains. This itinerary wastes no time getting you into the valley via the Shimla-Kinnaur highway. You'll drive the Sutlej gorge, climb into Kinnaur, cross into Spiti, and hit every major landmark — Kalpa with its views of Kinner Kailash, the ancient streets of Tabo, the cliffside monastery at Key, the high village of Kibber, and the electric blue of Chandratal. Accommodation mixes hotels and homestays. Food is local — lots of dal, rice, thukpa, and chai brewed with yak butter if you're lucky enough to be in the right kitchen.
