Frequently Asked Questions

+Why anti-clockwise (Shimla side first)?

Spiti sits at 3500–4500 m. Entering via Shimla means gaining altitude gradually over 3–4 days, which prevents acute mountain sickness. Entering directly from Manali via Rohtang is a 4000-m jump in one day and is unsafe for most travellers.

+Is Chandratal always accessible?

Chandratal road usually opens mid-June and closes by early October. We confirm road status the week before your trip and reroute via Batal–Gramphu if Chandratal is closed.

+Do we provide oxygen?

Yes, every Spiti vehicle carries a portable oxygen cylinder and a pulse oximeter. Our drivers are AMS-trained.

+How do I book this tour?

Fill the enquiry form on this page and our travel expert will call you back within 30 minutes during business hours (9 AM – 9 PM IST). After confirming your dates, vehicle and hotel category, we share a detailed itinerary and a secure payment link to lock the booking.

+How much advance payment is required?

A 30% advance confirms the booking. The balance can be paid 7 days before departure via UPI, bank transfer or our online payment gateway. All payments are protected by a written cancellation policy.

+Can the itinerary be customised?

Yes — every itinerary on this page is fully customisable. You can extend nights at a particular destination, swap activities, upgrade hotels, add an extra cab segment, or pair this tour with another nearby circuit. Tell our advisor what you want and we will redesign the package on the same call.

+Is the vehicle private or shared?

All vehicles are private — only your group travels in the cab. For 2 pax we typically deploy a Swift Dzire / Etios; for 3–4 pax an Innova / Ertiga; for 5–6 pax an Innova Crysta; for larger groups a Tempo Traveller. Vehicle type is confirmed in writing before booking.

+Are tours operating year-round?

Most circuits run March–November. High-altitude routes (Spiti, Ladakh, Chanshal Pass, Manali–Leh) are seasonal and operate only between June and mid-October when passes are open. We will tell you the safe window for your chosen route on the first call.

+Is this safe for families with children and senior citizens?

Yes. Our vehicles are well-maintained, drivers are vetted Himachal locals, and we recommend lower-altitude hotels and shorter driving days for groups with children or elderly travellers. We have run thousands of family tours since 2017.

Ready to plan your Himachal trip?

Fill the form and our travel expert will call you back within 30 minutes during business hours. We'll share a custom itinerary and a no-obligation quote — switch dates, hotels or vehicles freely on the call.
