Shimla to Narkanda Snow Bike Tour

Three days on a motorcycle from Shimla to Narkanda — 65 km of mountain highway through some of Himachal's most dramatic scenery. Narkanda sits at 2,708m, and in winter the road to get there is snow-lined and the apple orchards along the way are bare-branched and beautiful. The Hatu Peak (3,400m) side trip above Narkanda offers a panorama that includes peaks in four states. The ride itself is the draw: curves through deodar forest, chai stops at roadside dhabas where the owner knows every biker by name, and the particular satisfaction of earning a view through effort.
