Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. HimachalWale uses a small number of them — some are required for the site to function (signing in, keeping your cart), and some are optional and only run if you allow them, for understanding traffic and measuring ad performance. You choose which optional ones to allow in the banner shown on your first visit, or any time via "Manage cookie preferences" in the footer.

These keep the site working — staying signed in, remembering your cart, and protecting forms from tampering. Without them, checkout and your account simply won't work, so they can't be turned off. They're never used to track you across other websites.
If you allow Analytics, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics so we can see which pages people visit and how the site performs — no code that identifies you personally runs unless you've allowed it.
If you allow Marketing, the Meta Pixel loads so we can tell whether a Facebook/Instagram ad actually led to a booking. Neither script is added to the page at all until you say yes — not just hidden, genuinely absent.
Vercel Web Analytics (our hosting provider's own page-speed monitoring) runs regardless of this choice — it's cookieless and doesn't collect anything that identifies you, so it isn't one of the categories above.
Click "Manage cookie preferences" at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser's settings, though that may break sign-in and checkout.
