Chitkul → Shimla
Return journey from Sangla to Shimla via the Hindustan-Tibet Highway. Stop at Kalpa (2,960m) for views of the Kinner Kailash range — the 6,050m peak is believed to be Lord Shiva's winter meditation spot. The view from Kalpa — the massive rock and ice face of Kinner Kailash lit up in morning gold — is one of the most spectacular vistas in the Himalayas. Continue through the apple country, stopping at orchards to buy fresh apples, dried apricots, and local walnuts directly from farmers. Arrive Shimla by evening. This 5-day circuit covers the very best of Shimla and Kinnaur: colonial heritage, ancient temples, pristine valleys, and the raw beauty of the Indo-Tibet borderlands.

Curated multi-day packages where this circuit appears as one of the days.
