About this circuit
Cross Chandrakhani Pass (3,660m) early in the morning for the clearest views. The pass is a broad saddle between two ridges — easy walking but the altitude makes it feel harder. From the top, the panorama is extraordinary: the entire Great Himalayan range from Deo Tibba to Indrasan, the Kullu Valley on one side and the Malana Valley on the other. Begin the descent toward Malana — the trail drops steeply through forest to the mysterious village of Malana (2,650m), an ancient settlement whose inhabitants claim descent from Alexander's soldiers. Malana has its own parliament, its own laws, and outsiders are not permitted to touch villagers or their property. A fascinating cultural encounter.

Start your day by having your breakfast and get ready. Board your transfers to Kasol which is also known as the “Mini Israel of India”. Upon reaching Kasol, you will then travel further to Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, located 5 kms ahead of Kasol. You can take a refreshing dip in the hot spring of Manikaran and visit the gurudwara here. Spend the rest of the time at leisure, wherein you can explore the local market and go cafe-hopping. Return back to your hotel in Kasol. Overnight stay in Kasol.
