A Kashmir honeymoon for couples who find romance in landscapes, not hotel amenities. You'll wake up on Dal Lake in a houseboat where the only sound is water lapping against wood. You'll walk through the Mughal garden at Nishat Bagh — built by Empress Nur Jahan in 1633, designed for exactly this kind of leisurely strolling. In Pahalgam, you'll ride ponies along the Lidder river (the most cliched honeymoon activity in Kashmir, and also the most romantic — sometimes cliches exist for a reason). In Gulmarg, you'll stand at 3,979m together and look at a view that goes on for 200 km. Kashmir honeymoons don't need candlelit dinners. The valley is the candle. The mountains are the dinner.
