Kasol sits on the banks of the Parvati river and is the social heart of the valley, lined with cafés serving Israeli food and dotted with guesthouses. It is the launchpad for treks to Kheerganga, Malana and Tosh, and for exploring the hot springs at nearby Manikaran.
