The Tirthan Valley, named for the trout-rich Tirthan river, is a peaceful cluster of villages such as Gushaini and Banjar at the edge of the UNESCO-listed Great Himalayan National Park. It offers riverside stays, trout angling, waterfalls and forest treks toward Jalori Pass.
