The best months to visit North Goa are January, February, March. The recommended seasons are Spring & Autumn. Spring (March–April) and post-monsoon autumn (September–October) provide the best combination of comfortable weather, clear skies, and fewer crowds.
North Goa at its altitude does not typically receive snowfall. However, the surrounding higher peaks are snow-capped in winter and visible on clear days. For a snow experience, plan a day trip to the nearest higher-altitude points.
North Goa receives heavy monsoon showers from July through September. The landscape becomes beautifully green. Main roads are generally passable, but lower-lying paths can flood temporarily. October marks the start of clear, dry weather and is highly recommended.
