The road distance is 200 km and a typical drive takes about 8 hours via Rohtang/Atal Tunnel, Gramphu, Chhatru, including standard tea/meal breaks. Hill conditions, weather, and time of day can vary the actual duration.
For 2–3 travellers a sedan or hatchback is most cost-effective. For 4–6 with luggage choose an SUV or Innova Crysta. For groups of 7+ a Tempo Traveller is recommended. On high-altitude routes (Spiti, Leh, Kinnaur) we operate only SUV / Innova / Tempo with hill-trained drivers.
One-way fares above include the return empty-leg. For a round-trip with a halt in Spiti Valley, we offer a discounted rate — typically the one-way fare plus ₹2,500–4,500 per night halt. Contact us with your dates for the exact quote.
