Himalayan Deodar Wood Carved Deity — Hadimba Devi

Hadimba Devi — the patron goddess of the Kullu Valley, whose ancient temple in Manali draws millions of visitors — rendered in sacred deodar cedar by a master woodcarver from the Kullu Valley. Himachali wood carving has a 1,000-year tradition — deodar was chosen because its name means "wood of the gods" and its natural oils make it resistant to insects and decay. This idol is carved from a single piece of aged deodar, hand-finished with traditional tools and polished with natural beeswax. Each piece is unique — the grain of the wood influences the final form.
