Our Himalayan wild lavender essential oil is steam-distilled from flowers that grow wild at 2,500 metres in the Kullu Valley. Unlike cultivated lavender, these wild plants develop a deeper, more complex fragrance from the intense UV light and cold nights at altitude. Each 30ml bottle contains oil from approximately 15 kg of hand-picked flowers, harvested by local women's cooperatives during the brief July-August blooming season.
