onwardsThe Kullu shawl is one of India's most celebrated textile traditions — a GI-tagged (Geographical Indication) craft that has been alive in the Kullu Valley for over 500 years. This shawl is handwoven on a traditional pit loom by master weavers in the Kullu Valley using pure mountain-breed sheep wool. The distinctive geometric border patterns (called "patti") are created using a supplementary weft technique that takes days of painstaking work. Each shawl takes 3-5 days to complete. The wool is naturally warm yet breathable — perfect for Himalayan winters and cold-weather travel. Size: 100 x 200 cm. Available in traditional colour combinations.
